First begin with what has happened to the massive Russian convoy being stuck.
Ukrainian resistance is also thought to be hampering the progress of the convoy, according to the Pentagon, although it noted that it could not fully independently verify that claim. The stronger-than-expected Ukrainian resistance could also be impacting on Russian morale – another reason given for the convoy’s lack of movement. “The overall morale of people sitting in this convoy is going down every day,” Oleksandr Danylyuk, a former Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council for Ukraine told the BBC, comparing that with the strong motivation of the Ukrainian military to defend its capital. On Tuesday, a US defence official told reporters that there were signs of morale problems in the Russian force, which makes use of a large number of conscript soldiers. “Not all of them were… even aware that they were going to be sent into a combat operation,” the official said.

And then there are the people of Poland, opening up their arms to help the Ukrainian people.

WARSAW — Poland has gone straight from being the EU’s bad boy to star pupil thanks to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.For the first time in years, Poland is getting some positive press. Huge numbers of ordinary Poles have responded with astonishing generosity to the more than 500,000 Ukrainian refugees pouring across their eastern border — sending relief aid and opening their homes to thousands of people. As a nation scarred by centuries of Russian aggression, Poland has also become the main staging point for sending a flood of anti-tank and anti-aircraft rockets, rifles, ammunition, weapons, armor and other war supplies to the battling Ukrainians.
Evil caused all the harm being done to Ukraine. Miracles responded. The very fact that Ukraine has been able to hold off Russia for over a week is a miracle. There were citizens taking Russian tanks including a Gypsy!
Most of the world is trying to help the people of Ukraine, including the Russian people risking their lives to protest against what Putin has done.
The president of Ukraine has become an example to the rest of the world.
All of this, of course, represented Europe’s best effort to live up to the example set by Volodymyr Zelensky, the 44-year-old president of Ukraine. Exhausted, unshaven and defiant, he has shown us the face of heroic resistance. In an address to his country on Thursday, he said, “I don’t want Ukraine’s history to be a legend about 300 Spartans. I want peace.”

This is what all of us need to remember. When you survive what came from hell, good always follows. You can ask where God is when evil people take whatever they can, do whatever harm they can do, destroy whatever they can, but that is only because we expect God to prevent all of it.
The truth is, God does try to get through to people all the time. I am sure that God has been trying to get through to Putin but he chooses to not listen to Him. He has turned his heart to stone. He somehow convinced himself that he deserves to take over Ukraine, no matter what it costs the people in his country or the people of Ukraine. God however responded by getting others to help the forces of good.
Russian soldiers have been surrendering. They have been saying they had no idea what they were being sent to do and their hearts are broken.
There is no doubt Ukraine is utilising the discomfort of captured soldiers for propaganda purposes. Several videos show young men calling their mothers back in Russia, who have no idea their sons are fighting in Ukraine. The mothers typically break down. The Ukrainian authorities have opened a hotline for worried Russian relatives, in another PR scoop.

Because of Putin proving his own people do not matter to him, he is faced with them risking their freedom to protest against him. No matter what he does, he can never undo the harm he’s done to them, or to the Russian people, or to Ukraine. Using the weapons he sent, targeting hospitals, schools and apartments, showed he does not care and does not deserve to be in charge of anything. He will never destroy goodness with evil and now even his forces know the difference between fighting for their own country, and risking their lives for Putin’s ego.
