Goat Herders vs Good Shepherds

The battle between what is good within most people in this country and what is evil has turned into a full blown war. The loudest voices are the only ones the media focuses on, leaving the rest of us to feel sick to our stomachs.

A good example of this is Sarah Posner Unholy

HOW WHITE CHRISTIAN NATIONALISTS POWERED THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY, AND THE DEVASTATING LEGACY THEY LEFT BEHIND

UNHOLY

“In terrifying detail, Unholy illustrates how a vast network of white Christian nationalists plotted the authoritarian takeover of the American democratic system. There is no more timely book than this one.”—Janet Reitman, author of Inside Scientology

Why did so many evangelicals turn out to vote for Donald Trump, a serial philanderer with questionable conservative credentials who seems to defy Christian values with his every utterance? To a reporter like Sarah Posner, who has been covering the religious right for decades, the answer turns out to be far more intuitive than one might think.

Unholy

The Good Shepherd is Jesus and He gave explicit instructions for those who choose to follow Him. So far, those to do are subjected to attacks coming from the goat herders because they are following what Jesus taught. It has gotten so bad, that I had to rewrite my last three books because they were Christian based. The goat herders have given followers of Jesus such a bad name that people are avoiding anything that they think may be tied to them.

Can you blame them? I can’t. I feel just as nauseated as they do.

Take a look at this headline, “Pro-Trump Candidate Says God ‘Raising Up Armies’ to ‘Shut Down’ Democrats”

Republican congressional candidate Mark Burns, an evangelical Christian pastor, vowed that God would “raise up armies” to help conservatives “shut down” Democratic-led America.

Burns, a staunch supporter of former President Donald Trump, is running for Congressas a Republican in South Carolina’s 4th District. The conservative pastor spoke Friday at the ReAwaken America event in Canton, Ohio, with Eric Trump, MyPillow founder Mike Lindell and Trump’s former national security adviser retired Lt. General Michael Flynnalso in attendance.

Analysts have described the ReAwaken events as “QAnon rallies” or “QAnon friendly”—with many speakers and attendees regularly promoting the bizarre conspiracy theory. QAnon adherents believe a Satanic cabal of Democratic elites work to control the world through molesting and sacrificing children.

Newsweek

That guy isn’t alone. Here’s another one.

Pastor Greg Locke says Christians can’t vote Democrat. Why this rhetoric is bad faith.” That was on the Tennesseean. If you think that headline is just a claim, think again. Watch this video and listen to how many other goat herders are out there too.

It isn’t that I had a hard time finding these. It’s more a matter of being able to hold back urge to vomit. The thing is, all this caused me to have to rewrite over 900 pages!

So why shepherds and goat herders? It refers to what Jesus said about sheep and goats in Matthew 25 where he explains the difference between the two. It ends with what will happen to those who only claim to be His followers and it doesn’t end well for them.

45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

The bible is full of powerful examples of what is good and what is evil but the New Testament is what Christians are supposed to follow, but they have been led into the abyss of hatred and judgment. They are the reason why so many have left the church.

Christians are supposed to actually be pro-living, instead of pro-birth relegating the born into a cause they can, and do, neglect. They are not supposed to be trying to enforce their own beliefs on everyone else. Did you know that Presbyterians, along with other Christians, support the right for people to choose what is right in their own lives? Since we are all still free to make our own choices as to what we believe and do not believe, this is also supported by the fact that there are so many different denominations within the Christian community. Yet the goats think they are they are on the side of life? Seriously?

Most of us have no clue where these people got their ideas from. They lie, support lies and then claim to be on the “moral right” when in fact, while they got the “right” part correct, the bible proves they have nothing to do with morals and are on the wrong side of the room. Jesus talked about the sheep and goats and who will end up on His right side, and those who will be on His left. They failed to notice that a speaker always faces their audience and they are on His left side.

All the ranting and screaming about how the goats are Christian, has caused the rest of us to wonder how they can break free from the evil that has taken hold of their souls.

These battles and more are in The Lost Son Alive Again because it is impossible to get through to people needing spiritual healing of PTSD to not be repulsed by the thought of what they think Christians are. After all, most of them left the church for the same reason. The 1st editions of both of these books with the bible passages are staying up for those who want to read them and find the source for the direction of these books.

The Lost Son Alive Again (2nd edition of The Lost Son and Alive Again have been combined and will be out in Amazon Kindle June 1st for PTSD Awareness Month. It is available in paperback now for Mental Health Awareness Month. Stranger Angels will be out next month too.
